“I grew up in the Midwest and am happily married to my amazing wife, Joan. We have four adult children and, when they were young, I would tell them bedtime stories. That was the beginning of Humphrey & Daffodil.
Several years ago, my family approached me about putting some of my stories in writing for posterity. This resulted in my publishing a limited run of my first book, The Adventure Begins!, which was illustrated by our daughter, Rebekah (above, middle). Encouraged by the response of friends and family, I decided to continue writing. Rebekah went on to illustrate "Turkey Day Trouble!", and Emily Robbins (above, right) took over the the artwork you see in "Daffodil's Dilemma" and "Two Tales of Two Tails". Lantz Berets, a friend who has a small local publishing business, printed and bound my books.
I’ve published four Humphrey & Daffodil stories, with two more written and waiting for an illustrator."
